A great time was had by all. The weather didn't let us down,
which was nice, especially after the last few weeks.
The trail was in perfect shape, thanks to Brian and Darin and
others at AVON.
A great turnout by The Goats meant we could do one on one
coaching, which was a first for me and makes it so much
easier.
The steep short climb down by the railroad up onto the
bridge was mastered by some, along with the steep
switchback and climb.
Greg amnaged to provide an excellent display of aerobatics
on the long flat bridge just after the start, not once but twice
and just kept getting back on his bike despite having cuts
and scratches all over. Bravo!
I managed to clear the narrow uphill root towards the end
but only once.
Nothing particularly bad happened on the right hand downhill
drop off apart from one faceplant which resulted in some
cool facial scratches and what looked like it was going to be
a black eye! I say cool because the guy who got them was
off to his Prom the next day and we all know how "Chicks
dig scars!" I must find out how he got on ;-)
Did I metion the dogs afterwards were the best I had that
day! A stroke of genius. I wolfed 3 of them down.
Thanks to everyone for turning up! See you next year.
